Summary
Dr. Gonzalez-Romero’s research focuses on the molecular evolutionary mechanisms underlying the differentiation and diversification of chromatin-associated proteins in different organisms. He is also interested in the analysis of the modifications in chromatin structure and their relevance for the study of genotoxicity using histone proteins involved on these responses as biomarkers.

Dr. Rodrigo Gonzalez Romero received his B.S. in Biology in 2005 and a Ph.D. in Genetics in 2010 at the University of Coruña, Spain.
