Differential Equations
Where To Go For Free Help

1. Office Hours, which are posted here.

2. FIU offers extra help sessions, called recitations, in Differential Equations every Wednesday afternoon from 5pm to 6:15pm in DM 409A. You can ask a graduate student any questions you have. If you can't make it at that time, you can watch the session live over the Internet by going to http://www.fiu.edu/~cinemath and (after downloading Flash Player), clicking on the light orange button if you have a 56K dial-up modem or on the red button if you have a cable/DSL connection. If you are unavailable to watch the session live, you can watch a recorded version of it by going to the same web site, clicking on the blue egg, then clicking on MAP 2302 recitation, then click on the green number on the left corresponding to which week of the semester it is,and finally clicking on the light orange or red button (depending on the speed of your connection).

3. The Math Lab in PC 247. If you go and there are tutors available, you will get immediate help. Otherwise, you will have to make an appointment. The phone number is 305-348-2180. For those of you living closer to the Biscayne Bay campus, the Math Lab there is in ACI 160 and the phone number is 305-919-5927.

4. The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services in GC 216. Tutoring is available to all students, whether you are a minority or not, but by appointment only. The phone number is 305-348-2436.
