Description: An introduction to basic concepts, computations and applications in Calculus. The course deals with techniques and applications of the derivative and an introduction to the integral.
Prerequisite: Trigonometry or MAC 2147: Precalculus

Tests and quizzes:

  • There will be two midterms, worth 100 points each, five (5) quizzes worth 10 points each and a comprehensive final examination worth 150 points. The dates for the midterms are 02/24 and 04/21. For the quizzes, the dates are 01/13, 02/10; 03/10; 03/31, 05/12. The date for the final examination is Friday, 05/20/2011
  • Grades: Grades will be assigned on the basis of 400 points.
