David Dolata performs mainly on lute and theorbo and occasionally tiorbino, archlute, baroque lute, baroque guitar, renaissance guitar, cittern, and viola da gamba. He performs primarily with Il Furioso<\/a>, which he co-directs with Victor Coelho. He has accompanied countertenor Andreas Scholl for concerts in America along with Victor Coelho and Laura Jeppesen.
