Note:   The course grade has been obtained by bumping the
"contract" grade, based on the Total%, up by two notches uniformly
with one exception.  The exception is that if, after this has been done,
the grade is a C-, the grade is changed to a C.  This means that
"C" level is 300 out of 500 points possible or 60% for the Total%.  I
really do understand that some of you will be disappointed.  You may view
your finals at the beginning of Spring Term, 2005.  For a variety of
reasons I hold on to the exams for at least one semester.  If you would
like to get your final exam back, ask at the end of Spring Term and I will
cheerfully return it.  For your information, the distribution of the final
exam scores, as percentages may be viewed in Recent Exam Info.  Have a
good break ... .
