Folks,
The wizards at Space and Scheduling have finally provided the Final Exam
Matrix for the term. Consequently, at least a tentative final exam
schedule is posted. Note well that the two-hour exams blocks are NOT the
same as the class schedule blocks. The Final Exams begin earlier than the
classes, in one case slightly, and in the other, significantly.

Folks,
The first thing you need to do is to go to your class's page and
click on the Essential Handouts link. All the items on that page
need to be printed or down-loaded for convenient viewing and
reading. Read each carefully. Then go to the FAQ page as
questions arise like
"Do you grade on a curve?"
or
"Do you permit the use of calculators on quizzes, tests, or exams?"
or
"Do you provide practice tests?"
or
"Can I use a formula sheet on the test?".
The FAQ's link, found on each of the class pages, should answer many
of the routine queries that arise at the beginning of the term. Explore
the site further to your heart's content. If you have additional
questions, you may ask in person, by phoning, or via e-mail. Be advised
that I do not reply to unsigned e-mails except to say that I do not
respond to unsigned e-mails. If you e-mail me, kindly identify yourself
and your class unambiguously. You should expect to work between ten and
twenty hours per week on the course(s). What determines how much time is
required is prerequisite mastery, smarts, and self-discipline. Eschew
obfuscation. Avoid F.B.S. Good hunting and good luck.

cramming.]
