omit certain applications and supplementary topics.

Evaluation: You will have 12 or 13 Mini-Tests, a Mid-term Exam,
and a comprehensive Final Exam from which you may accumulate a
maximum of 400 points, distributed as follows:
(1) Total of highest 5 of the first 6 Mini-Test scores: 100 points
(2) Mid-Term Exam score: 100 points
(3) Total of highest 5 of remaining Mini-Test scores: 100 points
(4) Comprehensive Final Exam score: 100 points.
Important Notes:
1. You will not be permitted to use calculators, integration
tables or formula sheets during mini-tests and exams.
2. Grading Scale (%'s):
A : [90,100]; A-: [87,90); B+: [84,87); B : [80,84);
B-: [77,80); C+: [74,77); C : [70,74); C-: [67,70);
D+: [64,67); D : [60,64); D-: [57,60); F : [0,57)
3. You must arrange in advance in order to take an exam or mini-
test at other than the scheduled date and time. No make-up mini-
tests will be given. Failure to abide by this will result in a
zero score on any missed test.
4. Last Day to DR/WI: Friday, October 21, 1994 by 5 p.m.
5. Mini-Tests are timed tests. They are always administered at
the very beginning of the period. Be punctual; be on time.
