Dr. Stacy Frazier

Dr. Frazier is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Training for the Clinical Science in Child & Adolescent Psychology program at FIU. She directs a program of NIMH-funded research that examines mental health promotion for families living in urban poverty through capacity building in the natural, neighborhood settings that support them.

Sarah Helseth

Sarah is a doctoral candidate & inaugural member of the Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology program at FIU. She specializes in disruptive behavior disorders, social competence, & community after-school programs.

Maya Boustani

Maya Boustani is a PhD student in the Clinical Science in child and adolescent psychology program at Florida International University, working with Dr. Stacy Frazier. Maya is interested in the prevention of adolescent risky behaviors including substance abuse, STDs and pregnancy prevention through community-based research. Maya is actively collaborating with multiple community partners to enhance adolescents’ outcomes.

Erin Hedemann

Erin is a doctoral student in the Clinical Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology program at FIU. Her research focuses on capitalizing upon and enhancing community resources to help promote good mental health for under-served children and families.

Robert Ogle

Rob is a doctoral student in the Clinical Science in Child & Adolescent Psychology program at FIU. His research interests focus on broad, resource-effective interventions for adolescents in concentrated urban poverty.

Angela Blizzard

Angela is a second year doctoral student interested in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based psychological interventions in public child serving systems. Angela is currently in the process of collaborating with the Miami Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department on our Fit2Lead study.

Tommy Chou

Tommy is a fourth year doctoral student interested in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based psychological interventions through new technology systems.

Rachel Ouellette

Rachel is a first year doctoral student interested in dissemination and implementation research.
