I served as department chair from 2004 to 2011, when I became Associate Director of the <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5;\" href=\"http:\/\/sish.fiu.edu\">School of Integrated Science and Humanity (SISH)<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"> <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">in the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cas.fiu.edu\">College of Arts, Sciences\u00a0&amp; Education<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">.
