A documentation booklet in PDF format is also available <a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.fiu.edu\/~vanhamme\/wdfiles\/ebdoc2016-bf.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Auxiliary data files needed to run the programs are accessible from the <strong>LCDC2015<\/strong> and <strong>Limb Darkening<\/strong> pages on this site.<\/p>\n<p>Andrej Pr\u0161a&#8217;s binary star program <a href=\"http:\/\/phoebe-project.org\/\"><strong>Phoebe<\/strong><\/a> (Physics of Eclipsing Binaries) initially used\u00a0 Wilson-Devinney as the underlying computational model.\u00a0 The program has a user-friendly graphical interface.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.fiu.edu\/~vanhamme\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/awuma2.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"413\" height=\"189\" src=\"https:\/\/faculty.fiu.edu\/~vanhamme\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/awuma2.gif\" alt=\"Over-contact binary orbital motion\" class=\"wp-image-661\"\/><\/a><figcaption>AW UMa model: a low-mass-ratio over-contact binary system.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My main research interests include the structure and evolution of close binary stars and modeling binary star observable data.
