Student Feedback from 2011 and 2012
"I truly believe it was almost all positive. The graduate students were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The seminars and field trip were exciting and full of useful and new information to me, I am pleased with all the resources I have gained from this."
"I made new friends, got introduced to the HRD and the amazing career opportunities present in the field of meteorology."
"The overall learning experience was great."
"I learned a great deal about remote sensing, particularly microwave imagery. I also enjoyed being able to present my own research to an audience."
"I learned more about remote sensing, all the resources that are available for this purpose, and I think that it is fascinating."
"This internship allowed me to broaden my knowledge with more available tools to study hurricanes and their genesis."
"Learning about remote sensing and what it means to meteorology was super cool. I had some minor background but the exposure received through this internship really broadened my horizons regarding the subject."
"The instructors were very helpful and made sure we understood everything to the best of our ability. I would highly recommend this program to any meteorology major."
