It is with great excitement and pride that we introduce a new resource for the study of marine pollution using molluscs as sentinel organisms, the CHROMEVALOA database (chromevaloa.com). This database gathers the chromatin-associated transcriptome of the mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis, providing a framework for the study of the genotoxic effect of the biotoxin Okadaic Acid, one of the main responsibles for diarrhetic shellfish poisoning syndrome. The work describing CHROMEVALOAdb has been published today in the journal Marine Drugs.
