I am a Professor in the Applied Social and Cultural Psychology Doctoral Program and an Affiliated Member in the Legal Psychology Doctoral Program at Florida International University. My lab’s research focuses on eyewitness memory, investigative interviewing, and understanding (perceptions) of investigations and evidence. In collaboration with community stakeholders, we are also examining which factors increase and decrease bias in investigations and real-world investigators’, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners’, and forensic examiners’ perceptions of and experiences within investigations.
