Hint on 9.7.35 - They tell you to compute the integral of v from 0 to 20 and to use Simpson's Rule to do that. You can use a table like that on page 559, where i goes from 0 to 4. Use the graph to get the y's (For example, y_2 is f (t_2) = f (10) = 60, but you must convert this to ft/sec).
9.7.39 is fairly similar. Set it up as an integral using Ch.8. Then you use numbers from the picture (you may have to double them or square them or whatever) to help get the y's in Simpson's rule.
HW 5, due 3/5/02: Note that Exam 2 will be 2/28; just before the drop date. I am not sure to have it graded by 3/1, but if you email me (subject ="C2 grade") I will try to grade yours and reply to you before the drop deadline.
