About this Website
The site was just created in Dec 2001, mainly for students in my Calculus classes in Spring 2002 at FIU. Or, perhaps, for the College, which needs to save money on paper and copying. Please let me know if you have trouble with the links, graphics, printing, etc or if you have any other suggestions.
Students: Read "My Policies" once, and check your syllabus and HW pages regularly, for new assignments and changes to the schedule. Also, I have put a lot of work into the "Help" pages, which include exams, short tutorials and some web-page experiments. But these are optional - I don't know if they are helpful, or even whether the "programs" work on all web browsers [almost no one has reported any problems as of 2/7/02].
Most of the math animations are mine, but most of the non-math animations are from animatedgif.net. I have written 2-3 java applets and a little javascript. Almost all the software I've used is freeware (see below). My daughter took the picture of the handsome guy on my home page.
