Insect neurobiology and visual behavior

Insect flight is unquestionably the coolest thing in the world. Despite their small size, insects mastered flight over a hundred of million years before any other animal even attempted it, and that skill opened the door for them to become the most successful group in evolutionary history. We are looking for talented graduate students to join our research group.  If you enjoy neurobiology, behavior, math, vision, flying animals, or fun experiments, consider contacting the lab. We are interested in diverse, motivated applicants with a variety of backgrounds.
