PHY 2048:
Physics w/ Calculus

The topics for this semester include basic kinetics, waves, and thermodynamics. It is assumed that you have some knowledge of introductory calculus and good working knowledge of algebra and trigonometry. First of two- semester intro physics course.

PHY 3106:
Modern Physics 1

Students will be introduced to relativity, quantum mechanics, atomic physics, nuclear and particle physics and many others.  You are expected to have mastered calculus-based intro physics and have a good working knowledge of calculus I and II.

PHY 3107:
Modern Physics 2

Second of two- semester intro physics course.You are expected to have mastered calculus-based introductory physics and have a good working knowledge of calculus I and II. As this is a course for majors, you should expect it to be rigorous.

PHY 4221:
Intermediate Classical Mechanics

The topics for this course will be posted at the beginning of the semester.
