Hi everyone,
My advice to you guys would be to do the homework assignments and tests directly after the professor finishes teaching each section, that way you would practice and apply what you just learnt immediately before forgetting how it works. That worked pretty well for me. Also pay attention in class and attend every class because the professor explains the concepts in an as simple as he can make them way, in the end calculus is calculus but the professor truly makes it easier. Plus make use of the office hours, ask questions, and always clear any doubts you might have before the exam. Finally finish the Aleks pie as early as possible in the beginning of the semester because it really refreshes your memory in all the past math concepts needed for the course. Best of luck.

Although the class is not easy, professor is so nice. If you go to every class, take notes, pay attention, and study, you can get an A. You should do all the Homework and quizzes; take your time to do your HW and quizzes; they are very helpful, and they are a good way to study. If you have a doubt, do not hesitate to email the professor or ask him after class. Try not to miss classes. You should plan to study a few days before each exam, study the reviews (they are so useful), and take advantage of the tutoring center; find a tutor to help you.

Hi guys, this is not an easy class, but if you do all the homework and attend every class (just like I did) you will pass the class. I got an A in this class without doing anything out of the ordinary. Just study before tests and don't miss any classes, as it is easy to fall behind. Best of luck!

Students should go to every class and take lots of notes. Professor explains everything well and writes it all down, if you don’t know how to do a homework problem or have a doubt, don’t hesitate to email him or go to his office hours. Also, if you have a quick question you can ask him after class and he will help you. Make sure you understand everything and if you don’t, ask the professor. Also, for tests and quizzes, study the reviews and some homework problems you struggled with. Plan to start studying days before the exam/quiz because you won’t be able to learn and practice the material the day before.

Start studying ahead of time and take advantage of the tutoring center.

Make sure to go over his reviews that he makes for the upcoming exams, as well as old reviews he had for the same chapter exam but in his previous classes. All his notes are online, so if you miss class, make sure to go back and check them out. The homework is also very helpful so take your time on it and use it as a resource to study.

Just put in the time in studying. Better to study for 15-20 minutes every day, then to study hours cramming before the test. This is the kind of material that is best learnt through repetition over time. As well, if you're in Ondrej's class, make sure to take full advantage of all the resources he provides. His class notes, and guides with answers are a great resource to study from, and understand how he gets to the solutions. Best of luck!

Advice I would give to a student in MAC2233 (Business Cal) is to go to all the classes. Get help outside the class, hire a tutor. Get 100% on all homework and quizzes big percentage of the grade. Put in over 30 hours leading up to the test and you will get a 100. Study the study guides.
Joseph Suarez
Pay attention in class, attend every class, take notes, do the homework, ask teacher for help if you do not understand something, research rather than “cheat” on your homework if you are having problems.
Andrey
Be proactive, I took this class twice because I wasn't proactive with the class early on. The second time around, I aced the class (largely due to a better teacher as well). Once you start understanding the content, the class really flies by.
