This included a detailed focus on the segregation of Black characters and programming in this genre, and the reinforcement of traditional sexual scripts used in their portrayals. -

As an invited panelist, I discussed my research addressing Haitian parents attitudes about female sexuality's influence on sexual risk outcomes among adolescent and young adult women. Particular attention was paid to its role in HPV vaccine uptake trends.
