This was an invited presentation for the Miami International Airport Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Women’ History Month Professional Development Conference.

What happens when your most intimate pictures are posted online without your consent? This workshop series investigated the options and psycho-social consequences victims of revenge porn face when navigating this uncharted territory.

The ways in which traditional ideas about women of colors' body image shapes perceptions of their sexuality was the focus of this invited talk. Particular attention was paid to the ways in which these beliefs shape sexual health decision making processes.

This invited address was part of Sexual Assault Awareness month. Drawing from the empowerment focused literature, I discussed ways in which women can maintain agency around their sexuality beliefs and expressions, while being vigilante about their own and peers' sexual safety.

This address focused on feminist approaches to networking that center individuals' career and personal goals. Through the use of concrete tasks and reflective exercises, this invited talk provided attendees with tools to improve their networking skills across academic, personal and online spaces.

For this Black History Keynote lecture, I addressed on the ways in which Black women are uniquely framed in reality television. This included a detailed focus on the segregation of Black characters and programming in this genre, and the reinforcement of traditional sexual scripts used in their portrayals.

The fascination with women’s buttocks began long before Kim Kardashian or Nicki Minai. The importance of Sarah Barttman’s body as a foundational framework of Black woman’s sexuality and body politics in today’s popular culture was highlighted in this discussion.
